Main features:
The PC based Soundcard Oscilloscope receives its data from the Soundcard with 44.1kHz and 16 Bit resolution. The data source can be selected in the Windows mixer (Microphone, Line-In or Wave). The frequency range depends on the sound card, but 20-20000Hz should be possible with all modern cards. The low frequency end is limited by the AC coupling of the line-in signal. Be aware, that most microphone inputs are only mono.
The oscilloscope contains in addition a signal generator for 2 channels for sine, square, triangular, sawtooth wave forms and different noise spectra in the frequency range from 0 to 20kHz. The signal can be defined by a mathematical formula as well. The signals are available at the speaker output of the sound card. These can be fed back to the oscillocope in order to generate Lissajous figures in the x-y mode.

The program has been written in LabView (™ by National Instruments). For the actual Sound I/O part the WaveIO package by the same author has been used.

Signal Sources

The signals for the oscilloscope can be internal to the computer (MP3 player, function generator etc.) or from external sources (line-in, microphone). For external sources care has to be taken, not to exceed the voltage range of the inputs. The range is usually only ±0.7V !! If higher voltage need to be analyzed, a voltage divider has to be used. Additional protection diodes are recommended in order to avoid any damage to the sound card and to the computer.

Requirements

This program will run on Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7/8 (32bit and 64bit) computers with a sound card. It will not install on older versions of Windows. The speed requirements are not very hard. A 1GHz machine is suffient. On slower CPUs the load on the system might lead to reduced responsiveness of the system.

Instructions: The program comes as a self-extracting archive and will start the installation automatically. After the installation start the scope from the entry in the program menu. Enjoy !

- Improved mouse control of the amplitude measurement: after the acquisition is stopped (Run/Stop) a right click into the scope window starts the measurements. A left click positions the cursor on the time axis. The left and right cursor keys allow a fine adjustment of the cursor
- Mouse control of measurement in the frequency window: left click positions the cursor on the frequency axis. Fine adjustment with the left and right cursor keys
- Expert mode allows to modify the sampling rate within the program and direct access to the configuration file

JVC LT-26DE9BJ - LT-26DE9BU - LCD TV - HOW TO ENTER SERVICE MODE [FACTORY MODE] - FACTORY SETTINGS - [Initial Settings] & Universal Remote Control Set-up Codes.

TO ENTER SERVICE MODE

This TV can receive both DVB-T (Digital terrestrial broadcasting), DVB-S(Digital satellite broadcasting: DB9 only) and Analogue terrestrial broadcasting.
This television has PVR (Personal Video Recorder) function that allows you to record a program in the installed hard disk drive.
By connecting a HDMI compatible device, high definition pictures can be displayed on your TV in their digital form.

Press [INFORMATION]key and [MUTING]key on the remote control unit simultaneously to enter the FACTORY MODE SCREEN-1.
Press [►] key on the remote control unit simultaneously to enter the FACTORY MODE SCREEN-2
Press the [OK] key to exit the factory mode.

SELECTION OF SETTING ITEM

For scrolling up / down the setting items: [FUNCTION ▲/▼ ] key.
For select the setting items: [FUNCTION ◄/►] key.

The setting value will be stored automatically when release the REMOTE CONTROL UNIT keys.

SERVICE [FACTORY MODE]

Enter the factory menu (can use the IR) and press the remote key [◄V-] to “0’, press mute remote key, then press 9,7,3,5 remote key.
Press [►] key to enter the sub-menu and press MENU key to return the main-menu.

ADJUSTMENTS

Adjust the temperature in CMP, VGA, AV.

Make sure the picture mode is set to “Stand”, the “Picture àBlack expand” on the user Menu is set to “OFF”. “Other àFlesh Tone & Adaptive Luma Control ” on

the factory Menu is set to “OFF”. After Alignment, the entire item will change to “ON”

ADC ADJUST

For CMP input, the test signal is 576i/50Hz,100%, 8 steps colour bar. Select the “Balance àRGB Calibrate” on the factory Menu, then press “à”, ADC adjust is finished after “OK” is displayed
For VGA input, the test signal is 1024×768/60Hz white/black grid. Select the “Balance à RGB Calibrate” on the factory Menu, then press “à”, ADC adjust is finished after “OK” is displayed.

VGA ADJUST

For VGA input, the test signal is 1024×768/60Hz 16 steps gray bar. Set the “Balance àTone” on factory menu to “Normal”:
For the third step form the white bar, Adjust the value of White R,White G,White B, until the color temperature is x=280±5, y=290±5 Y > 220nit
For the second step form the black bar, Adjust the value of GrayR, Gray G, Gray B, until the color temperature is x=280±5, y=290±5 Y < 25nit
Repeat, until all is ok
Adjust the value of Black level.

AV ADJUST

For AV3 input, the test signal is PAL - 8 steps gray bar. Set the “Balance à Tone” on factory menu to “Normal”:
For the third step form the white bar, Adjust the value of White R, White G, White B, until the color temperature is x=280±5 y=290±5 Y > 220nit
For the second step form the black bar, Adjust the value of GrayR, Gray G, Gray B, until the color temperature is x=280±5 y=290±5 Y < 25nit R
Repeat A&B, until all is ok
Adjust the value of Black level.

CMP ADJUST

For CMP input, the test signal is 576i/50Hz-16 steps gray bar. Set the “Balance à Tone” on factory menu to “Normal”:
For the third step form the white bar, Adjust the value of White R, White G, White B, until the color temperature is x=280±5 y=290±5 Y > 220nit

ANALOGUE BOARD SOFTWARE UPDATE By Imran Ashraf
Prepare MTKTOOL UPDATE, update board, serial line.

Connect PC, update board, and J3 on the main board with serial line
Provide the STB +5V for main board
Open “MtkTool.exe” in MTK TOOL program, and set the parameter as below picture.
Press “Browse” for selecting the SW.
Press “Upgrade” to download the SW. It will be OK when it shows “100%”
After downloading SW, it will be long time for Initializing EEPROM.
